and the culture of flavors
Pesto Lab is located in the heart of Monterosso, very close to the splendid sea and a stone's throw from the cultivated terraces of the hill, 2 aspects of the territory that distinguish the Cinque Terre park where for years "farmers with boats" have been able to laboriously harvest the fruits of the territory, giving life to the culture of the flavours of the Cinque Terre.
Pesto Lab, the brainchild of Davide Faravelli, its founder, is a laboratory where ancient recipes are worked by hand, recipes that risk being overturned by modern electromechanical technologies that remove the precious contribution of the hands from every phase of the process.
Davide Faravelli, with his artisan workshop, is one of the custodians of Liguria's great gastronomic culture. His love and passion for his homeland have contributed, over years of sacrifice, to the creation of Baico and its dedicated brands.

After a long experience as a pasta maker, Davide Faravelli moved to Monterosso and, with his collaborators, created an artisanal workshop producing Ligurian delicacies renowned worldwide.
Davide maintains a personal relationship with his suppliers, knowing the people and the businesses, and having direct contact with the raw materials guarantees exceptional levels of authenticity and produces delicious products appreciated everywhere.
Pesto Lab preserves ancient recipes and reinterprets them using the same artisanal methods, methods that also include recurring gestures in the daily use of utensils, manual techniques that guarantee consistent levels of quality over time.

and the diffusion of flavours and knowledge
Pesto Lab's commercial activity has recently been strengthened with the creation of this new e-commerce site, a tool that allows people who cannot travel directly to Monterosso to still purchase the typical products offered by the laboratory shop.
It's certainly a commercial venture, but it nonetheless contributes to the spread of the flavors and knowledge of Liguria, a surprising land that has attracted so many tourists and intellectuals for decades. It's impossible not to be fascinated by the places.
